My comedic background includes stand-up, improvisational theater and morning radio. Indeed, sports' more serious side certainly teaches us vital life lessons like teamwork, playing by the rules, winning and losing with dignity and class and being part of something larger than ourselves.
But athletics is also entertainment. The games we play are not life and death, and there remains much space for wisecracking, quick-wit, good-natured ribbing and self-deprecating humor. I pride myself on bringing listeners a professional entertainer's sense of humor that allows the audience to more fully enjoy both individual games and seasons writ large.
