A.P. Harreld is the funniest man in Utah! Timing. Voice. Verbal intelligence. He has them all. A.P. is an easy choice for casting directors and production companies needing elite comedic talent for game shows, pageants and other emcee opportunities. A.P. is also an accomplished voice artist and a highly-skilled VO instructor. -- April 2017
Owner/Agent, Stars Talent Studio, Salt Lake City, UT
A.P. Harreld is a blend of supreme intelligence, the humor you would expect from a stand-up comic, unmatched enthusiasm for his work, and an uncanny ability to communicate. A.P. also has a skill for writing that I haven't seen in my 10 years of talent coaching. A.P. Harreld would be a fantastic hire for any station that is looking for the complete package. -- May 2015
A.P. took Gillette by storm when he screeched in with his Porsche. He immediately became an integral part of the community through his broadcast interviews and involvement with local events.
Rest assured, A.P. can talk to city folk, ranch folk, senators and non-profits alike. He hasn't met a stranger and will befriend anyone. His dedication to his job is always in the forefront of his mind and you can see the wheels turning while he anticipates the next topic or comes up with a great idea for a community event.
During A.P.'s stay at Basin Radio he accepted any opportunity to volunteer, lend a hand or solve a problem. His intellect is unmatched and there is not a topic off-limits. Being in A.P.'s presence makes you dream bigger, think stronger and want more while needing less. -- July 2016
I would not describe A.P. Harreld as dull.
A.P. is one colorful guy and I promise that you will NOT find another human being like him. I'd describe him as a people-person and a complete extrovert. Although, he is always internally "brewing" something in his mind.
I had the privilege of working with A.P. for about six months in Evanston. If there's one thing he loves to do...it is make people laugh! I noticed that if you were feeling blue, A.P. was there to brighten your day or at least annoy you until you finally gave in.
He's got a great attitude and is full of energy. He takes pride in his work and wants to make the most of his life. In conversation with A.P., you'll notice that he likes to use extremely bizarre words. You might find yourself "googling" some silly word he just used.
On a more serious note, A.P. truly cares to get to know a person. Whether it was discussions about our field of work, religion, relationships, goals, or dreams, A.P. listened and offered his advice, too. He's knowledgeable and truly cares.
Lastly, A.P. shows respect. He asked about my family background and tradition in the field of broadcasting. He treated me well and has been a good friend. -- September 2015
In addition to being smart as a whip, A.P. Harreld is a bona fide sports prodigy with an encyclopedic memory of sports history and trivia and the personality to bring what he knows to broadcast audiences in a way that both informs and entertains.
He handles call-in programs with humor and his play-by-play of baseball, football and basketball puts you in the middle of the action. In broadcasting and in-person, if it’s a sports audience, Harreld is the man. -- April 2015

Musician, VO artist and veteran radio talent.
Creator, The Yellow Submarine
I appreciate A.P. Harreld’s enthusiasm for life, writing ability, friendship and sense of humor. We have worked together on several projects: from a full- blown business to simple 30-second spots. And each time, A.P.’s professionalism, style and elite ability led the way in creating a superior product.
A.P. wrote several of the intros for my show The Yellow Submarine, each of which perfectly capture the feelings of the years 1962-1964…a great compliment for someone born in the 1970s! I look forward to working with A.P. again. -- June 2015

I've had the privilege of listening to A.P. Harreld's radio broadcasts of various sports over the last year. I have been listening to radio broadcasts of athletic events in Evanston for 26 years, and A.P. is the best I've listened to in that time.
One thing that separates A.P. from the rest is his fluent verbiage. It is also obvious to the listener that he has spent considerable preparation. A.P. expresses a great deal of knowledge for whatever sport he is broadcasting. In addition, he possesses an eloquent, quick wit that allows the audience to feel engaged and entertained.
I think Evanston has been very fortunate to have someone of A.P.'s caliber for the local broadcasting. -- August 2015
It has been a distinct pleasure to get to know and work with A.P. this year as the voice of the Red Devils basketball team. I am very impressed with his professionalism, work ethic, and ability to communicate what is happening on the court to his audience over the radio. Listening to his broadcasts has been a treat for myself and my family members, who winter down south and are not able to attend the games.
A.P.'s preparation, professionalism, and love for broadcasting stand out! Furthermore, his kindness and integrity make it an honor to work with him. In a profession filled with great people, A.P. is one of the best! I look forward to every game we play against Evanston, because of the opportunity to catch up with a true professional like A.P. -- April 2015
A.P. Harreld is a unique talent who combines lightning-quick wit, unmatched energy, and outstanding broadcast awareness.
There is no one I've met, or listened to, with a better ability to make mundane communication humorous and entertaining. A.P. lives for the next laugh, his audience is anyone lucky enough to be within earshot, and his energy is endless. He has shaped his lifestyle to maintain his energy, intelligence, and entire presentation.
A.P. and I worked together in a number of different broadcasting capacities: sports talk, morning show, and game broadcasts with me as lead play-by-play and him as color analyst and vice versa. His talent is exceptional as a host, play-by-play man, and as an analyst.
Many "color analysts" I've worked with have a hard time, either through lack of awareness or discipline, knowing when to start and stop talking. As a host, A.P. adeptly and consciously involves the other talent and as "second fiddle", A.P. possesses flawless cognizance for when to talk and for how long. I prefer broadcasting alone over most "analysts" I've worked with, but A.P. is an unquestioned exception. -- October 2015
As a longtime Wyoming high school basketball coach, I have had the privilege of working with many radio play-by-play announcers - a few who were accomplished at their jobs and many who were less than stellar. This past season was my introduction to a young announcer from Evanston, whom I believe has great promise in the industry.
A.P. Harreld is as thorough and professional in his approach as any I have encountered. His knowledge of the game and depth of his interview questions were refreshing, to say the least. After only a few interactions, it feels as if I have known him for years.
It is with great joy that I look forward to, once again, visiting with A.P. in the near future. -- April 2015
As a parent of a high school student-athlete and a business owner, I've had the pleasure to work and interact with A.P. Harreld on a regular basis.
As a parent I've enjoyed his play-by-play call, his knowledge of the game and his interest and help in my child's accomplishments.
As a business owner, I've witnessed A.P. provide my brand with a high level of exposure. His creative and professional presentation is a valuable and effective advertising tool. A.P. is a consummate professional. His preparation is meticulous and complete. His presentation informs and entertains. He has the rare combination of intelligence, humor and humility.
Our community has been lucky to have A.P. for what I'm sure will be a short time as I believe he is destined for bigger things and a broader audience. -- September 2015
I've known A.P. since WMBG was still located on Ironbound Road. He's a very knowledgeable radio man and a great talent. -- April 2015
I worked with A.P. in radio over 20 years ago, and to this day, I do not think I have met anyone that brings more enthusiasm to the craft.
With a "can do" attitude, A.P. has the ability to dream big and still take care of the fine details of any task.
He is incredibly knowledgeable about a myriad of sports and brings a consistent level of high energy to any athletic event. -- April 2015
I read the Writing entry on A.P.’s site with great pleasure. He does several innovative things to give the run-down of each team originality. Each entry has an imaginative and insightful title. The fact-based content is written in a sprightly manner, blending information with figurative language and strong verbs to create interesting portraits. Ending each one with a suggested theme song is the cherry on the sundae.
The occasional literary references (as to Greek epics), puns (A Green River Running Dry), cool names for gyms (The Barn-the-Boom-Built), current event analogies and stingers (Lady Devils: offensive juggernaut; North Korea: open-and-free-society), and high-minded diction like gravitas give his writing life, variety, and a hard-to-pin-down conversational but also knowledgeable air. The voice is the key: informed, witty, and concrete. -- May 2015
